The State of Wisconsin requires every Wisconsin firefighter to complete an Entry Level Firefighter course (60 hours). The Middleton Fire District takes this a step further and requires all its firefighters to complete Firefighter I (36 hours) and Firefighter II (42 hours). Other training courses available include:
